How it works
Enter your date of birth and the age calculator instantly works out how old you are in years, months and days — the same way people count birthdays, by counting whole years first, then whole months, then the leftover days. Alongside your exact age you get your total months, weeks, days, hours and minutes lived, the weekday you were born on, and how many days are left until your next birthday. Leap years are handled exactly: the maths uses real calendar dates, so a 29 February birthday counts on 1 March in non-leap years. How do I calculate my exact age?

Yes. The maths uses real calendar dates, so leap days are counted automatically in the total-days figure. If you were born on 29 February, your birthday is treated as 1 March in years that have no 29 February.
