This is a party game, not a personality test — the questions are here for entertainment only. The bank is a curated set of 144 hand-written dilemmas (18 per category), deliberately kept clean and family-safe rather than exhaustive, so a big batch will run out of fresh questions before it repeats itself.
How it works
Pick a category, choose how many questions you want, and the generator deals them from a curated bank of 144 hand-written “would you rather” dilemmas — classic head-scratchers, silly ones, food fights, superpowers, travel, work and tech, deep questions and a kid-friendly set. Questions are drawn with a seeded shuffle, so a single batch never repeats a question; ask for more than a category holds and you simply get the whole category. The card at the top walks you through the batch one at a time with Previous and Next, and the two big buttons let you lock in an answer — handy for settling an argument at the table.
Leave the seed box empty and every click of Generate questions deals a fresh batch. Type anything into it — a number, tonight’s date, a friend’s name — and the batch becomes reproducible: the same seed with the same category and count always gives the same list, which is useful if you want everyone in the group to see the same questions in the same order. Copy all puts the list on your clipboard and Download .txt saves it as a plain text file. Everything runs as plain JavaScript in your browser — no server, no signup, no ads, and nothing you generate is ever sent anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
What makes a good would you rather question?
Both options should be genuinely tempting or genuinely awful. If one side is obviously better there is nothing to argue about, and the argument is the whole point.
Are there themed questions?
Yes. Choose a theme such as food, travel, superpowers or work and the generator draws only from that pool.
Can I save a set of questions?
Copy them or download the list as a text file. A seed also reproduces the exact same batch whenever you need it again.
