How it works
Enter the jumbled letters from your puzzle and the unscrambler checks every word in its
built-in dictionary against your letter pool. A word matches when each of its letters is
available in your rack the right number of times — so listen, silent,
tinsel and enlist all come back from the letters L, I, S, T, E, N, along
with every shorter word hiding inside them. Type ? for a blank tile and the
matcher will fill in up to two missing letters for you.
Each result shows its Scrabble® score using the standard English tile values (A, E, I, L, N, O, R, S, T, U = 1; D, G = 2; B, C, M, P = 3; F, H, V, W, Y = 4; K = 5; J, X = 8; Q, Z = 10). Letters supplied by a blank tile score zero, exactly as they do on a real board. The score is for the bare tiles only — it does not include double/triple letter or word squares, which depend on where you place the word. Everything runs in your browser: the word list ships with the page, so nothing you type is uploaded or stored.

How does the word unscrambler work?
Type your jumbled letters and every word in the built-in dictionary is checked against your letter pool: a word matches when each of its letters is available the right number of times. Results appear as you type, grouped from longest to shortest, so LISTEN returns silent, tinsel and enlist along with every shorter word hiding inside it.
Can I use a blank or wildcard tile?
Yes. Type ? anywhere in your letters and it acts as a blank tile that can become any letter — up to two blanks at once. As on a real Scrabble board, a letter supplied by a blank tile scores zero, so the score shown next to each word already accounts for it.
Is this a full Scrabble dictionary?
No, and the page says so. It ships with a curated list of about 3,600 common English words — no proper nouns, abbreviations or obscure plurals — so the whole tool loads in a few kilobytes, runs offline and never sends your letters anywhere. Tournament word lists are far larger, so a rare valid word may be missing.
