How it works
Drop in any picture, type your top and bottom captions, and the meme is drawn instantly on a canvas in the classic Impact style — white text with a heavy black outline, automatically wrapped to fit the image width. Sliders control the text size (as a percentage of the image height) and the outline thickness, and you can pick your own text and outline colors or turn off ALL CAPS.
Everything happens inside your browser using the Canvas API: your image is never uploaded to a server, so private photos and screenshots stay on your device. Use Download meme PNG to save the result at the original resolution, or Copy image to paste it straight into a chat, document or slide.

What font do memes use?
The classic meme look uses Impact in white with a thick black outline, all in capital letters. This generator uses that style by default (falling back to a similar condensed bold font if Impact is not installed), and you can change the text and outline colors or switch off ALL CAPS if you prefer.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The meme is rendered entirely in your browser with the Canvas API, so your image never leaves your device. Nothing is uploaded, stored or logged. That makes it safe for screenshots and personal photos, and there is no watermark, sign-up or ad on the result.
