How it works
Drop a photo and a crop box appears on top of it — drag the box to move it, pull any of the eight handles to resize it, or lock it to a preset ratio like square, photo or wide. The readout and the four number boxes always show the crop position and size in the original pixels of the image, and you can type exact values into them. The crop itself is cut from the full-resolution image with the Canvas API, so nothing is scaled down. Your image never leaves the browser: no uploads, no servers, and the download keeps the original PNG, JPEG or WebP format. You can also fine-tune with the keyboard — focus the box, then use the arrow keys to move it one pixel at a time, Ctrl (or Cmd) + arrow keys to move it ten at a time, and Shift + arrow keys to resize it.
