How it works
Type your ad spend, impressions, clicks, conversions and revenue, and every advertising metric updates as you type. CPM is spend รท impressions ร 1,000, CPC is spend รท clicks and CPA is spend รท conversions. CTR is clicks รท impressions and conversion rate is conversions รท clicks, both shown as percentages. ROAS is revenue รท spend expressed as a multiple: $4,000 of revenue on $1,000 of spend is a 4.00ร ROAS, which is the same campaign as a 300% ROI, because ROI subtracts the spend before dividing.
The figures work for Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn or any other channel โ the maths is identical, only the reporting labels differ. Use the copy and download buttons to drop the full breakdown into a report or a client email. Everything is calculated in your browser with plain JavaScript: no account, no ads and none of your campaign numbers ever leave your device. Leave a field blank if you don't have the number โ every metric that still has enough data keeps calculating, and the rest show a dash.
Frequently asked questions
How do you calculate CPM, CPC and ROAS?
CPM is ad spend divided by impressions multiplied by 1,000, CPC is ad spend divided by clicks, and ROAS is revenue divided by ad spend, written as a multiple. For example, $1,000 of spend on 250,000 impressions and 5,000 clicks gives a $4.00 CPM and a $0.20 CPC, and $4,000 of revenue on that $1,000 spend is a 4.00x ROAS.
What is the difference between ROAS and ROI?
ROAS divides revenue by ad spend, so it counts the spend you get back as well as the profit: 4.00x ROAS means every $1 spent returned $4 of revenue. ROI subtracts the spend first, so the same campaign is a 300% ROI. This calculator shows both, plus the raw profit, so you can quote whichever figure your report expects.
Do I have to fill in every field?
No. Enter your ad spend and whichever numbers you have. Any metric that still has enough data keeps calculating and the rest show a dash. Nothing is uploaded either: all the maths runs in your browser, so your campaign numbers never leave your device.
