How it works

Tick the times tables you want to drill, choose multiplication, division or a mix, set how many questions you want and press Start quiz. Each question is marked the moment you press Enter, so a wrong answer immediately shows the right one — the fastest way to fix the two or three facts that always slip. A running score, a progress bar and a timer keep the session honest, and when you finish you get an accuracy percentage, your average time per question and a full list of every answer you gave.

Questions are drawn from every fact in the tables you picked and shuffled with your browser's cryptographic random number generator, so you never get the same drill twice and no fact is favoured. Missed questions can be replayed on their own with one click, and the results sheet can be copied or downloaded as a plain text file for a parent, teacher or homework folder. Everything runs locally in your browser: no account, no uploads, no ads and no tracking — it even keeps working offline.

Frequently asked questions

How do I practise my times tables with this quiz?

Tick the tables you want to drill (1 to 12), choose multiplication, division or a mix, set how many questions you want and press Start quiz. Type each answer and press Enter — the question is marked immediately, and a wrong answer shows you the correct fact straight away.

Can I quiz division facts as well as multiplication?

Yes. Set Question type to Division to get the inverse facts, such as 56 ÷ 7 = ?, or choose Mixed to have the quiz alternate randomly between multiplication and division questions from the same tables.

Is the times table quiz free and does it work offline?

It is completely free with no account, no ads and no tracking. Every question is generated in your browser with JavaScript and nothing is ever uploaded, so once the page has loaded it keeps working with no internet connection.
