How it works
Drop an image and the tool shrinks it to a tiny grid with the Canvas API, then blows that grid back up with image smoothing switched off — the classic pixelation (mosaic) effect. Every block is the average colour of the pixels underneath it, so faces, licence plates, names and screenshots become unreadable rather than just blurry.
The block size is picked automatically from your image and you can fine-tune it with the slider or type an exact pixel value; the preview updates instantly. Pick Dots for a halftone look, or tick true pixel art to download the small grid itself (one image pixel per block) instead of the full-size version. Everything happens in your browser — the image is never uploaded, which matters when you are censoring something private.

If you only want to hide one area, crop that part out first, pixelate it, and paste it back over the original in any editor.
