How it works
Pick a paper size, a grid style and a spacing in millimetres, and the sheet is drawn live as an SVG in your browser. Square grids give classic quadrille or engineering paper (with an optional heavier line every 5 squares), dot grids suit bullet journalling, isometric paper is built from equilateral triangles for 3D sketching, hexagons are for tabletop maps and organic chemistry, and ruled lines make plain writing paper.
Everything is generated locally with JavaScript — the PDF is assembled in the page with pdf-lib, the SVG is plain markup you can open in Inkscape or Illustrator, and the PNG is rasterised on a canvas at 300 DPI. Nothing is uploaded, there is no watermark and no sign-up. Because the page size is set in real millimetres, printing at 100 % scale gives you an accurate grid you can measure with a ruler — turn off “fit to page” in your print dialog so 5 mm on screen is 5 mm on paper.
Frequently asked questions
How do I print graph paper at the correct size?
The PDF is built with the real page dimensions in millimetres, so a 5 mm square measures 5 mm on paper. In your print dialog choose the matching paper size and set the scale to 100 % (turn off "Fit to page" or "Shrink oversized pages"), then check the result with a ruler. If your printer cannot print edge to edge, raise the page margin a few millimetres so nothing is clipped.
Which grid types can I generate?
Five: square grids (classic quadrille or engineering paper, with an optional heavier line every N squares), dot grids for bullet journals, isometric paper made of equilateral triangles for 3D sketching, hexagonal paper for tabletop maps and organic chemistry, and plain ruled lines for writing. Spacing, page margin, line weight and line colour are adjustable, and the preview redraws instantly as you change them.
Is my graph paper uploaded anywhere, and is there a watermark?
No and no. The sheet is drawn as an SVG directly in your browser tab and the PDF is assembled locally with JavaScript. Nothing is sent to a server, there is no account, no watermark and no ads. You can download a vector PDF, an SVG you can edit in Inkscape or Illustrator, or a 300 DPI PNG, and copy the SVG markup straight to your clipboard.
