How it works
Paste one address per envelope — separate several addresses with a blank line and you get a multi-page PDF with one envelope per page. Pick a standard envelope size (#10, Monarch, A2, DL, C6, C5 or C4), choose where the recipient block sits, set the text size and optionally force UPPERCASE, which postal sorting machines read most reliably. The preview is drawn at true millimetre scale, so what you see is exactly what the printer puts on the paper.
The PDF is built in your browser with pdf-lib at the exact envelope dimensions, so print it at 100% scale (“Actual size”, never “Fit to page”) and load the envelope in the tray the way your printer's icon shows. If your printer feeds envelopes upside down, tick “Rotate 180°”. The stamp guide is a preview-only outline and is never included in the PDF or SVG. Everything runs client-side — no uploads, no sign-up, no ads, and the addresses never leave your device.
Frequently asked questions
How do I print an address on a #10 or DL envelope correctly?
Type or paste the recipient address, choose the envelope size (#10 is 241.3 × 104.8 mm, DL is 220 × 110 mm) and download the PDF. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” or set scaling to 100% — never “Fit to page”, which shrinks the sheet by a few percent and pushes the address block out of the window. Then load the envelope in the tray exactly as your printer's tray icon shows. If your printer feeds envelopes upside down, tick “Rotate 180°” and the PDF page is rotated to match.
Can I print a whole batch of envelopes at once?
Yes. Put a blank line between each address in the recipient box and every block becomes its own envelope — the preview shows “envelope 1 of 12” and the Previous/Next buttons step through them, while the downloaded PDF contains one page per envelope at the exact envelope dimensions. The return address and all the layout settings are applied to every page, so you can print the whole run in a single job.
Are my addresses uploaded anywhere?
No. The preview is an SVG drawn in your browser and the PDF is assembled locally with pdf-lib, so the tool keeps working offline once the page has loaded, needs no account and shows no ads. Mailing lists are personal data and yours never leave your device. The dashed “STAMP” box is a preview-only guide to help you leave room for postage — it is never included in the PDF or SVG you download.
