How it works
Drop an MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC or WebM file and it is decoded straight into your browser with the Web Audio API — nothing is uploaded, so even a long interview or an unreleased track never leaves your device. The waveform is drawn from the decoded samples, so you can drag across it to grab a rough range and then fine-tune the exact start and end times to a hundredth of a second in the number fields.
Keep selection trims the file down to the highlighted part; Remove selection cuts that part out and joins what is left, which is handy for dropping a cough, an ad break or a false start out of the middle. The 10 ms fade keeps the cut edges from clicking. Every change re-renders the preview instantly, and the download is an uncompressed 16-bit WAV — a lossless cut of the decoded audio that any editor, phone or ringtone app will accept.

Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is decoded and cut with the Web Audio API inside your browser tab, so it never leaves your device — no server, no account and no shareable link. That makes it safe for interviews, voice memos and unreleased tracks.
Which audio formats can I trim?
Anything your browser can decode: MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG, Opus, FLAC and WebM all work in current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. The trimmed result is always exported as an uncompressed 16-bit WAV, which is a lossless cut of the decoded audio and opens in any editor or phone.
Can I cut a section out of the middle instead of keeping it?
Yes. Switch Selection to "Remove selection" and the highlighted range is cut out while the parts before and after are joined together — ideal for dropping a cough, an ad break or a false start. Leave the 10 ms fade on so the join does not click.
