How it works
Drop in a photo, choose a border width, a color and — if you like — rounded corners, and the framed image is redrawn instantly. The border is painted around your picture with the Canvas API right inside this page, so the original file never leaves your device: no upload, no account, no ads.
Widths can be given in pixels or as a percentage of the shortest side, which keeps the frame looking the same on portrait and landscape photos. Untick Same width on all sides to set the top, right, bottom and left independently — handy for a caption strip under a photo. PNG and WebP keep the area outside rounded corners transparent; JPG has no transparency, so those corners are filled with white instead. The Copy CSS border button gives you the matching CSS rule for the web.

How do I add a border to a photo online?
